A great falling away or a great revival?

There are so many schools of thought in regards to the future of God’s people here on earth. I understand some of the confusion but to me, on some of the issues, the Bible is pretty clear.

For example, I am sometimes asked if there will be a great harvest of souls, or will there be a great falling away?

Will God’s people take dominion over the earth (dominion theology) or will there be great persecution?

I’ve never really understood why there is such confusion in these areas.

What is my answer? A resounding YES!

Will there be a great end Times Harvest: YES!
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped (Revelation 14:14-16).

Will there be a great falling away: YES!
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first” (2 Thessalonians 2:3). 

 Will God’s people take dominion over the earth (dominion theology) YES!
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26)

For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. (Romans 1:19)

Will there be great persecution? Yes!
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:1)

The war between good and evil will continue to intensify
For me, the picture the Bible paints, as well as prophetic words I have received, clearly indicate that, as a whole, the greatest battle ever to be fought will continue to develop as the forces of evil escalate their war against all that is good and right.

Every aspect of this great war will intensify. There will be more of everything. There will be more and more extremes in every realm.

Like any war, it will not all happen at the same place and all at the same time; it will be diverse. Some areas will be less affected and some more. It will be more intense in some places and less in others.

Not all, but much of that will have to do with how spiritually equipped the inhabitants of a particular area or region are.

All, but not all at the same time or place
It seems like many of the end times prophecy predictions that I hear suffer from tunnel vision i.e. it has to be one way or the other at one time or another while the lense of the end times view often seems to be restricted as if to be looking through the scope of America.

The thing is America is just one of approximately 195 independent countries in the world. The United States is just one isolated part of the world’s landscape and time is eternal.

To think that God has the exact same plan for all of the world to experience every event concurrently is nonsensical.

You have been given a job to do!
If you have been born into the family of God then you have a destiny that is waiting to be fulfilled. You have a purpose: It is unique. It is something that only YOU can do. It will be different from mine and everyone else’s.

Today I encourage you to seek God for the calling that He has on YOUR life. Take your place in the Kingdom of God and fulfill your call to advance His Kingdom.

Start with yourself, move on to your family, friends, and then others. It doesn’t have to be confined to that path but generally speaking, that is the Biblical pattern.

The main thing is to seek God as to what part He would have you play: Be willing to adjust and adapt as necessary, and then go to it!

Why not be on the winning side?
