Joel's army for the end times Christian Radio podcast ministry, preparedness, preparing, end of days, be ready for Jesus return, Rapture false doctrine

Be Ready

I couldn’t say how many times I have referenced Matthew 24:3. After being asked what to look for as a sign of His return, the first words Yeshua spoke were “Take heed that no man deceive you”: To me, these are ominous words.

Every teacher, that knows anything at all about teaching, knows that they should emphasize what they want to be remembered at the beginning and end of their presentation.

So, as I mentioned, the very first things Yeshua said was “Take heed that no man deceive you”.

After that, He begins a fairly lengthy discourse about what to expect at the end of days.

But then, just as He is beginning to transition into a related, but different subject Yeshua said this: “Be ready”.

For me, if “Take heed that no man deceive you” is ominous, then “Be ready” may be even more ominous.

“For this reason, you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

Mat 24:44

“Don’t worry, be raptured”

If you have bought into the mainstream rapture doctrine then you are probably thinking that Yeshua’s admonition to “Be ready” in Matthew 24 is simply a reference to spiritual preparedness. However, the rapture doctrine is a deception designed to lull God’s people into apathy: “Don’t worry…. be raptured”.

The satan is a deceiver and a master strategist. The false rapture doctrine is one of his deceptions for the purpose of weakening God’s end-time army that the devil knows will be warring against him and his minions.

“Be ready” in every way
For me, it is clear that when Yeshua said to “be ready” in Matthew 24:44, He is admonishing you and I to be ready in every way. The rest of the Renewed Covenant (N/T) clearly clarifies and confirms that Yeshua admonishes us to be ready for His return in spirit, soul, AND body.

Here is just one example of many:

…whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.

Luke 22:36

Having said all of that, I can not encourage you enough to make yourself ready for what is coming.

Be Ready
Be Ready. It’s a tall order. We are spirit beings, with a soul, housed in a body. Accordingly, the instruction given to “be ready” includes every aspect of life. The human existence requires all three areas of life to be sustained.

First and foremost is spiritual preparedness. Of course, if you have not entered into a covenant with Yeshua then I can’t encourage you enough to do so: But there is much more than that.

Spiritually, Hebrews 6:1 tells us to move on from basic doctrines, like raising the dead, to maturity in the Messiah.

Mentally, in Romans 12:1-2 Apostle Paul tells us to renew our minds and then there are various Scriptures that indicate that we are to take care of this earthly temple that God has prepared for us.

Luke 22:36 above is only one of numerous references in the Bible to preparing physically.

So being prepared is really a tall order. I promise you that it takes a wholehearted commitment.

I also promise you that if you are not wholly committing yourself to being prepared for what is coming then you won’t be. The results will probably be devastating to you: At best they will be very challenging.

Today I encourage you to “Be Ready”. Take heed of the instructions given to you by Yeshua: Be as Ready in spirit, soul, and body as God equips you to be.

Blessings in Yeshua
