Command your morning: Command your life
“Living in the love and faith of God”
While many of the Joel Osteen types take Scriptural principles and pervert them into oblivion that leads to abomination, often times their precepts are rooted in Scriptural principles: Rules for success generally are.
One of those basic principles is to “command your morning”. Why is it important to “Command your morning”? Because every day begins with a morning.
The Bible on mornings…
The Bible has much to say about mornings. God’s mercies are new every morning.
Every day follows a morning; a new beginning; a fresh start. Mornings signify a new beginning.
Morning by morning, day by day we have the opportunity to walk with God.
Of course, Biblically, the new day begins at dusk rather than dawn. There are reasons for this. I believe that one of them is it helps us to remember that as the productive hours are coming to a close, we can now rest in Yeshua with a new opportunity just over the horizon.
Day by Day
This helps us remember that every situation we face begins a new opportunity for God’s grace to shine forth, every day: Day by Day.
New Beginnings are preceded by prayer
In this way, we see in the Bible that, in many cases, new beginnings are preceded by prayer.
We see this principle in Matthew 14:23-32. This is the portion of Scripture in which Yeshua and Peter walk on water.
And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Mt 14:23-32 (KJV)
Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; 13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
Job 38:12
In this way, we train ourselves (you are a spirit, with a soul, dwelling in a body) seek God every day.
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Is. 26:9
As we seek God every day, we come into alignment with the plans, purposes
In the past you were dead because you sinned and fought against God. But God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much He made us alive With Christ,
Eph. 2:1&4 Contemporary English Version
Declare today that your life is aligned with the plans, purposes, and destiny of God.
Blessings in Yeshua,
