Coronavirus P. 8: The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah Yeshua has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Romans 8:1-3

The passage itself declares the dominance of the law of the Spirit of life in Yeshua over the law of sin and death. The fact that the law of the Spirit of life set Apostle Paul free from the law of sin and death clearly expresses the dominance of Yeshua over sin, death, and the devil.

If that is not enough, all one has to do is look only a few verses further:

But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you.

Romans 8:11

Did you get that? The Spirit of life has the ability to quicken your mortal body. The Spirit of life is more powerful than the law of sin and death.

When the law of the Spirit of life in Yeshua is ACTIVATED, The law of the spirit of death is deactivated!

Life and life more abundantly – Zoe’
This is exactly what Yeshua was referring to when He said that He is the way, the truth, and the life.

When Yeshua said that He came to give us abundant “life” He was saying far more than just biological breath: He was referring to abundant life; even “life as God has it”.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:10

Life, Living, Lifetime, Life-Giving:
The English word “life is translated from the Greek word Zoe’ which is Strongs #G2222. Vines New Testament Dictionary defines Zoe’ as “a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself.”

When you step out of the life energy force of the Spirit of life, you automatically avail yourself to the spirit of death because, for a short time, the satan is the god of this world.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:6
