God makes it simple but….

The “Simple” ways are best
Yesterday on the “Morning Watch” and the “Daily Encouragement”, I encouraged living a simple life.  Basically, the point was that when you live life in a simple way, you avail yourself to see and hear God much more readily.

God has already made it simple
I remember watching the movie “Appollo 13”.  The astronauts were in a crisis because their air supply had been compromised and it was almost depleted.  The ground crew had to figure out a way to build a make-shift air filter for the aircrew in the aircraft.  They had only minutes to duplicate a very complex unit, that took years to design (out of “space-age” materials):  And they only had a very limited supply of rudimentary materials to do it with.

Contrary to their predicament, The great thing about your situation is that God has already given you the design for life and He has made it simple for you to make it.

Your manual, The Bible, has been called “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth”.  The Word of God has a way of answering seemingly complex problems with simple solutions.

If people would only listen to the words that God has told us, our lives would be so much better and easier. He knows how we are made and He knows what is best.  The heavy lifting has been done: Now all we have to do to take advantage of God’s ready-made plan to abide in and with Yeshua the Messiah.

Abiding in the Christ
Do you need physical healing?  If so there are other things you need to be aware of but if you do receive your healing, you may not be able to keep it unless you embrace a lifestyle of “abiding in the Messiah”

Do you need inner healing?  If so there are other things you need to be aware of for that but if you do receive your healing, you may not be able to keep it unless you embrace a lifestyle of “abiding in the Messiah”

Do you need…..?  Then….    Get the idea?

Though others may have hurt and taken advantage of you or may even be doing so still,  God makes it clear that He wants only good things for you.  It is the satan and his minions who purpose to hurt , steal from, and destroy you.

In Deuteronomy 4:1 we read:
…Listen to these instructions and teachings! If you obey them, you will live, and you will go in and take the land that the LORD is giving you.

God wants you to live a peaceful, abundant life based upon His love for you.  To that end, God has filled the Bible with this kind of language throughout.  He has told us you to live the abundant life and has even given you a book full of mentors to help you along the way.  He has already made a way for you to take what He has waiting for you.

God makes it simple: But then He makes the simple wise…

The instructions of the LORD are perfect, reviving the soul.
The decrees of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
Psalm 19:7 

Not only did He make it simple for you, but He wants everyone, all of us to enter in to an intimate relationship with Him (1 Tim 2:4).  However simple should not be confused with ignorant or unwise.  When you enter into a relationship with the Most High, you receive His Spirit to help, counsel, guide and empower. (John 14:16, Acts 1:8, Eph. 5:17

God’s promise to YOU!
You have this promise that God has made to you:

So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11 

As God sends His Word to you, If you embrace Him it will not fail to hit it’s mark, making a simple message profound and transforming you into a reflection of His glory.

Hook up with the God who loves you today
While the satan and his servants try to destroy us, God wants only the best for you and He gives you that choice… Partner with Him and follow His instructions of life or face satan and the rest of the world on our own.

It isn’t necessarily easy; in fact, at times it can be quite challenging:  But it’s simple.

I hope you will join me and choose Him: Choose life!

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
