Fear not. don't fear, trust God in trouble

Daily Encouragement: Will you choose fear or Yeshua?

In 2 Chron. 20, three enemy nations were gathered together against the Israelite tribe of Judah.  The king of Judah, Jehoshaphat was concerned; in fact, the Bible tells us that he was “afraid”.

I think that most people would find this understandable. However, we see that even though Jehoshaphat was afraid, he “turned his attention to seek Yahweh, and proclaimed a fast throughout all of Judah”:  He also called an assembly.

Suddenly, from the midst of the assembly came a voice; a voice of prophecy from Yahweh Himself – a message from the one true King of kings.

The first thing He said was “Do not fear….  for the battle is not yours but God’s”.   He then proceeded to give Judah a battle plan for victory.

The Kingdom of God on earth
Oh, how easy it is to fall into fear.  Yet we are reminded time and again, all throughout Scripture to trust Yeshua.

There are many who want more of the things of God but few who are willing to sacrifice enough to go there. If you really want to operate in the Kingdom of God you are going to have to commit yourself to Yeshua in a new way.

It will mean taking assertive steps to take time to be with Him. It may even mean denying other relationships, and other earthly activities that your flesh might desire and enjoy, so that you can spend time with Him.

Yeshua will honor your commitment to Him
Brother, Sister, we all know that this world is challenging; but may I encourage you today?  I make no claim to having arrived, however, I can testify that the closer you are to Jesus / Yeshua, the less you will fear everyone else.  The more you know the King of the universe, the less intimidating everything else becomes; the calmer life is.

Prayer: Lord Yeshua draw me close to you, by Your Spirit, that I may know you wholly and completely according to your perfect will: And may all barriers between the Messiah and me be removed in Jesus’ name.
