And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh Naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not Yahweh God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun and I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into your hand?Judges 4:6-7
This is a continuation of a series that I am doing based upon Judges 4:1-9.
Each episode stands alone but is benefited by the context of the others.
Yesterday I addressed Judges 4:6-7 and God’s desire to partner with His people.
Today I address those same Scriptures but from the perspective of how God designed us to co-labor WITH Him and how doing so gives us fulfillment because that is how He made us.
This began clear back in the garden when God MADE us to “work” the garden. Creation was designed that way as we see in Genesis 2:5 as God created the earth ready to produce but unable to until two main components were added 1) rain 2) man to take care of it.
Genesis 8:22 speaks of the principle of seedtime and harvest continuing as long as the earth remains.
The satan complicated matters by seducing the woman but Jesus / Yeshua restored the relationship that we have with the Father making us co-laborers with God (1 Cor. 3:9).
This is what we were designed and created for and this is where we will find contentment.
