Coronavirus P.2: Is The Coronavirus A “pandemic”?

Coronavirus P.2: Is the coronavirus a “pandemic”?

Several years ago someone unrelated to John G. Lake rejuvenated the name of the John G. Lake Healing Rooms in Spokane, Washington.

In a sad and ironic turn of events, yesterday that same Healing Rooms ministry in Spokane, Washington voluntarily shut down because of the coronavirus “pandemic”.

Pandemic defined
I am referring to the coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic because that is what it is being referred to in the American mainstream media.

Webster’s online dictionary defines a pandemic as “Something occurring over a wide geographic area and affecting an exceptionally high proportion of the population”.

Example: The 1918 flu was a pandemic that claimed millions of lives

Compare that to the coronavirus
Here is a typical example of what multiple websites are reporting about the coronavirus: “The respiratory illness, which is caused by a never-before-seen coronavirus, has spread across the world and claimed more than 6,500 lives in three months.

Loss of life is always tragic. It should never be taken lightly and in no way am I making light of it here.

Let’s keep it in perspective
However, as with all things, it is important to keep it in perspective.

Abortions
The Number of Abortions in the United States TODAY will be around 3,000. Since 1973 there have been over 60 million state-sanctioned baby murders; that’s 270,000 in the same3 month period in which the coronavirus took 6,500.

Heart Attack
Every year, about 805,000 Americans have a heart attack: That’s approximately 2,205 per day.

That means in the 90 day period in which the coronavirus took 6,500, 198,450 died from heart conditions.

Alcohol-Related problems
A study found that the number of Americans who died from alcohol-related problems more than doubled between 1999 and 2017. Another new study said that there were 72,558 alcohol-related deaths in 2017; that translates to 199 per day deaths in America alone.

These are just figures that I randomly checked. I did not check any others however annual deaths in America caused by the flu also dwarf deaths caused by the coronavirus.

Is the coronavirus a pandemic?
Considering these statistics, and based upon the above definition of pandemic; “Something occurring over a wide geographic area and affecting an exceptionally high proportion of the population, in the strictest sense of the word I suppose someone could call the coronavirus a pandemic (maybe): But as I see it, if you compare it to REAL pandemics, there IS no comparison.

Plagues have been plaguing mankind at least as far back as the ten plagues of Egypt and they will continue to do so as long as the earth remains.

The difference now is there is a new world order that is trying to establish authority over every aspect of the earth and they are flexing their muscles to do so.

As recorded 2,000 years ago, in Matthew 24, Yeshua warned us that plagues were coming. If we are unprepared for them it is not His fault it is ours.

Where there is repentance prayer may help on an individual basis but for America and the rest of the world, prayer and other pleadings will not stop what is coming; only repentance will stop it.

Blessings in Yeshua
