God’s Kingdom Podcast / Summary: “Supreme court” lgbtqrwys ruling.

Folowing is a brief summary of today’s God’s Kingdom Radio program.

Yesterday the United States supreme court ruled on a case in such a way that sexual preference will now be given the same legal status as ethnicity according to the civil rights act of 1964

In his dissension, Justice Samuel Alito wrote, “The Court tries to convince readers that it is merely enforcing the terms of the statute, but that is preposterous. Even as understood today, the concept of discrimination because of ‘sex’ is different from discrimination because of ‘sexual orientation’ or ‘gender identity.’”

What we see here is a perfect example of how the rule of law can be completely disregarded; leaving an uneducated populace to completely loose their bearing.

the U.S. Supreme Court does not make law

It is critically important to remember that the U.S. Supreme Court does not make law: They never have. They rule on cases; they do not make law.

To create or change a federal law, the legislative branch would need to write and vote on it and then the executive branch would need to sign it. Obviously that has not happened in this case.

Court Opinions Are Not Supreme Law

To correct a few common misconceptions, the judiciary’s rulings are not the supreme law of the land, even rulings from the Supreme Court. The judiciary is not the only, or even final arbiter on the Constitution.

Article VI of the Constitution describes what qualifies as the law of the land.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land…

In the United States Code Annotated, there are four documents listed under the heading of ‘The Organic Laws of the United States of America”.

Those four documents are the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the United Staes Constitution, and the Northwest Ordinance

The Declaration of Independence

The first paragraph of the Declaration of Independence reads like this:

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

So what are the Laws of Nature and how do they relate to the court ruling in question?

Black’s Law Dictionary

The Founders would have referred to Blackstones Law Commentaries: The leading Law Commentary of the day. It has a very similar definition for the ;aws of nature” as Black’s Law Dictionary.

Today I am presenting the definition of “Natural Law” according to Black’s Law Dictionary. It is a more modern reference that the current supreme court could have easily referenced had they wanted to.

Black’s Law Dictionary defines Natural Law like this:

A rule of conduct arising out of the natural relations of human beings, established by the Creator, and existing prior to any positive precept Webster. The foundation of this law is placed by the best writers in the will of God, discovered by right reason, and aided by divine revelation ; and its principles, when applicable, apply with equal obligation to individuals and to nations.

The Bible

Both Black and Blackstone referenced the Bible heavily.

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 

Romans 2:14 says:

Rom 1:27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 

Conclusion

The ruling, in this case, violates God’s law, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. From a Biblical perspective, it is completely invalid and what the Founders of America would refer to as “pretend law”.
