In the recent past, revival in America has mostly either been well received by the culture or ignored by those not interested:  But this revival is different.  It will be more powerful, more profound, and far more brazen than any other the world has ever seen: Even more so than what we see in the “New Testament” / Renewed Covenant.

Those who choose God will be blessed beyond measure and we will see things that far exceed human comprehension. However, unlike previous revivals in recent American history, this visitation of God will be met with much opposition.

All-out war has already been declared in the heavenlies. Fence riding will soon become impossible for everyone:  All will have to choose a side.

In this great move of God those uninterested in righteousness will not be sitting idly by:  The demonic realm will be operating at full strength and partnering with evil people to prevent, disrupt, and destroy this great work of God.

Of course, Yahweh God and His people will eventually prevail, but it will not come easy or without cost.

What exactly is “revival”? 

A revival is far more than just a “meeting”.  In most cases claims of “revival” or “camp” meetings, these days are, at best, evangelistic meetings.  Evangelistic meetings can be a good thing, but they are not in themselves a “revival”.

A revival can be defined as a season of unusual divine visitation resulting in deep repentance, supernatural renewal, and sweeping reformation in the Church, along with the radical conversion of sinners in the world, often producing moral, social, and even economic change in local or national communities.¹

So what is God doing?

Although it will not look like “revivals” of “days gone by”, this is exactly what God is doing throughout the world in these days.  Holy Spirit flickering flames of fire are being lit all around the world that will eventually join together to create a great inferno amidst a sea of doubt, unbelief, and opposition.

This is not the end, but it is the beginning of the end as the God of glory prepares the Bride for the Messiah.

What side will you be on?

In Joshua 24:15 Joshua, the leader of Israel, instructed Israel to “choose this day whom you will serve“.  This is exactly what the Spirit of God is telling His people today.

Yeshua Himself said something very similar when He said “He that is not with me is against me“.

Conclusion

Revival is coming.  Preparations are being made now.  There will be similarities but generally speaking, it will look very different than what the world has seen before.  The adversary and his minions are building up and God is preparing a Remnant to overcome evil with good.

The more prepared and ready you are, the more you can benefit from what God has to impart to you.  This almost always includes shedding some aspect of the past or present so that you can move forward in freedom.

God is establishing “flickering flames” of revival throughout America, and all of the world, even now.  What will your part be?
