Everything you experience, by way of your senses, is simply a manifestation of what has already occurred in the spiritual realm.
A second dimension – The Spiritual Realm
So am I saying that there is a “parallel universe”; a sort of second dimension that is functioning in unison with everything that is occurring here on earth in the natural realm? No, I am not.
What I am saying is that when an architect draws up a set of blueprints for a new project, he begins with a thought and then creates the project as it is going to be. Initially, his thoughts are transferred from himself to the drawing board, and then eventually the actual project begins to take shape on-site.
In a similar manner, we spiritually and mentally generate our thoughts, our thoughts are manifested by words and actions and, in this way, we create how things are going to be.
If you are having difficulty with what you just read. Consider this; what happens when you tell a funny joke? 1) A joke enters your thought awareness. 2) your thoughts activate the vocal cords of your body 3) Others hear the words, interpret what is being said, and laughter is thus created.
What happens when you lose your temper and become unnecessarily angry toward someone who did nothing to deserve your anger? In a similar manner, you create frustration and discontent. Obviously, I could go on and on.
Of course, the creative powers of Yahweh God are far more influential than ours. For example, I don’t know of anyone else who can create trees from nothing. However, for God the principle is similar: He thinks a thought, speaks His words, and then what He wills comes to pass. For example between Genesis 1:1 & 1:26, we read “God said” eight times as He was recreating the earth. Do you think those words began with a thought?
Biblical examples of the spiritual realm manifesting in the natural realm
There are several Biblical examples that support this principle. One of my favorite chapters of the Bible is Daniel 10. In this portion of Scripture, we read that Daniel prayed for twenty-one days before seeing the result. But it was his prayers that initiated the heavenly response to his natural need.
In Luke 17 Jesus (Yeshua) healed ten lepers. He told them to go to the priest and as they were traveling they were healed; He spoke it with words that were generated in His Spirit and it became so. In John 11 Lazarus’s body was no longer functioning: But Yeshua said with a loud voice “Lazarus, come forth!… and he did. Again, in these cases the desire and motivation began in the Spirit, activated by the soul / mind and then manifested in the natural realm of the body.
In Acts 14 Apostle Paul was with a man who had never walked. Verse ten states that with a loud voice Apostle Paul said “stand upright on your feet” and the man leaped and walked. In this case, again desire (will) began in the spirit, it was activated by the soul / mind and then it manifested in the natural realm.
For brevity, I am not going to provide examples of evil working in this same manner; however, the Bible clearly reveals that it does. The principle we are discussing applies to the spirit realm in regards to both good and evil.
Help Right Now
So if you are experiencing challenges right now, I encourage you to remember that it didn’t start with the insult, the offense, or any other negative event. The adversity that you are experiencing now began in the heart of yourself or others before; maybe even many generations before.
The good news is just as your challenges began in the spirit realm they can also be resolved in the spirit realm. This is something that you can do something about. Second Corinthians 10:3-5 says that “though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Messiah;
Be encouraged today. No matter your situation you are not helpless and your situation is not hopeless. Learn to take authority in God’s Kingdom Realm so that you can walk with authority in the natural ream.
Remember: What is happening in the natural realm began in the spirit realm.
