Remnant Briefing 12-23-19
During this program, I experienced a computer failure in the studio. Because of that, there was approximately 10 minutes of non-related content edited out of the middle of this program. You will hear a reference to that event appx. 15 minutes into it.
Angry Americans
An Associated Press-GfK poll finds that most Americans are happy with their friends and family, feel good about their finances and are more or less content at work.
It’s government, particularly the federal government, that’s making them see red.
Almost 8 in 10 Americans say they’re dissatisfied or angry with the way the federal government is working, while about the same proportion say they’re satisfied or enthusiastic about their personal lives. More
A GIRL aged six discovered a desperate note in her Tesco Christmas cards from caged slaves in China forced to work against their will.
Florence Widdicombe, from Tooting, south London, was stunned when she opened the new box of charity cards to send to her friends and found the scrawled message inside.
It is believed to have been written by a foreign prisoner who was made to pack the cards in boxes at a gulag in Shanghai.
Inside one card, featuring a cute kitten in a Santa hat on the front, it said: “We are foreign prisoners in Shanghai Qingpu prison China.
“Forced to work against our will. Please help us and notify human rights organisation.” More
5 earthquakes in less than a day rattle secretive Navy base in Mojave Desert, USGS says
A cluster of earthquakes shook a secretive Navy base in the Mojave Desert on Thursday afternoon and before dawn Friday, geologists say.
Numerous small quakes hit in and around the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Five of the quakes were higher than 2.5 magnitude between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 a.m. Friday in Ridgecrest, the USGS said.
The base, deep in the California desert near Death Valley National Park, is where the Navy develops and tests its newest weapons.
A massive 7.1 magnitude earthquake on July 6 was also centered on the base and forced the evacuation of the massive installation, according to KLTA.
That was the biggest earthquake in the area in two decades, according to the USGS. More
Washington Dems and Their Emotional Vendetta
The Washington House Democrats are playing their own version of the Mueller investigation-game and are spending $120,000 of the people’s money to investigate a dead issue, an issue of rumors, innuendo, and disgruntled volunteers.
This is another weary waste of resources, and taxpayer funds, to demonize a good Conservative Christian lawmaker. The insinuations that the Communist-leaning Guardian reported earlier this year have been debunked and are considered Fake News.
Yet, the House leadership, tired of the Freedom Agenda that Shea follows in his promise to his constituents, grasped at the straws the Christian-bashing anarchists threw at them.
Rep. Matt Shea, who repeatedly challenges the Democrat House leadership, has been dealing with the false allegations of a Socialist Hit-Piece for several months now. Rising above the slander, Shea went on to a winning session in the Washington House. Therein lies the rub. More
National Guardsman: “We will not comply” if ordered by Virginia governor to arrest police, confiscate guns
In the increased advancement of the infringing on our 2nd Amendment rights, a member of the Virginia National Guard is putting his/her state legislators on notice.
He’s submitted a powerful response to an article we ran recently about lawmakers in that state threatening to call in the Guard to confiscate guns and arrest the cops that refuse to violate the Constitution.
Yesterday, I read an article written in Law Enforcement Today entitled “The Law is the law”: Dems threaten to deploy military against cops who refuse to enforce gun laws.
In the first few paragraphs, I was alerted to the fact that the state of Virginia’s leadership is upset that law enforcement officials do not want to violate their oath to uphold the Constitution. So upset in fact, that they want to call up the National Guard.
He said: It disturbs me that this guy got elected and has no concept of the law or reality.
Mr. McEachin, have you ever heard of a little thing called the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878? Apparently, you are not. Allow me to fill you in. More
