The Sacred Journey Destination

Currently, our groups are beginning a journey through the Song of Solomon. There are various ways to approach the Song of Songs. We are seeing it as the loving relationship between the bride of Christ, and her groom, Yeshua the Messiah,

As special, intimate, unique, and loving as that relationship is, there is a reason and purpose to it. A primary reason that we have our relationship with Yeshua is so that He can lead us to the Father.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me. 

John 14:6 

A quick review of some key events in the history of the people of God

• The fall of man in the Garden in Eden with Adam and Eve
• Moses’s generation failed to receive their inheritance and died in the wilderness.
• The Joshua generation chose to follow man and false gods instead of the one true God.
• Yeshua was the Second Adam. came to restore what Adam lost. He did not come as a Levitical priest, He came as the King and High Priest of a higher order; the order of Melchizedek.

A recent discussion regarding the destiny of Christians in America

Recently I was involved in a discussion with some mainstream Christians who are supposed to be a group of forward thinkers. They were debating whether or not Christians should vote. The overwhelming majority of them argued that Christians should not vote.

Here are some of the excuses / reasons they posed to support their argument with my responses following.

• Some want to wait until a “perfect” candidate runs.
  My response: The only one I know that fits that description is Yeshua and He’s not going to run.
• Not going to vote because it may be / probably is rigged.
  My response: clinton didn’t go into depression after losing in 2016 because she was told she was going to lose.
• Trump is part of the plan to divide the country.
  My response: Maybe so but Jesus came to divide too… was HE working for the Illuminati also? Should we all comply with communism so that we don’t upset anyone?

One woman said she voted once and felt terrible about it. I questioned how she thought she would feel about the treatment she received from the guards at the reeducation camp she was in as the result of her apathy.

The Great Awakening Revival in America and how it was scorned

“A 1742 anonymous tract compared the revivalists to the notorious “French Prophets” and cautioned “they have a strange fire working in them.” In a letter to England, liberal Congregationalist Chauncy whose “rational” theology led to American Unitarianism, denied reports “of a most glorious work of grace going on in America”. Instead, he described the meetings as noisy and confusing: “Houses of worship were scarce emptied night or day for a week together, and unheard of instances of supposed religion were carried on in them, some were praying, some exhorting, some singing, some clapping their hands, some laughing, some crying, some shrieking and roaring out it was a vain thing to argue with them, to show them the indecency of such behavior; and whoever indeed made an attempt this way, might be sure beforehand of being called an opposer of the Spirit and a child of the devil.

Not only did critics object to the indecent behavior, but social barriers were ignored and marginalized were given a voice. Lay ministers including the uneducated and nonwhite were ordained.”

The Destiny? The Kingdom of God

Yeshua instructed us to “occupy until He comes” and He will equip us for that purpose if we allow Him. In that process, we can expect resistance to the principles of God.

The purpose of the Sacred Journey is to take us to the Messiah who will lead us to the Father so what we will take our places as Kings and Priests in the Kingdom of God.

While there is nothing better than a loving relationship with Yeshua the Messiah, He has so much more waiting for us if we will step into our role as a King and / or a Priest in the Kingdom of God.
