The spirit realm steers the natural realm

Dimensions
Jewish rabbis understand Genesis 1 to say that the universe consists of 10 dimensions.

A quantum mathematician in Japan says that there are 9 dimensions.

At least some scientists believe that there are 10 dimensions.

I don’t know how many “dimensions” exist: I don’t believe anyone does. There may be one, but I don’t know of any reason to spend a lot of time trying to figure it out.

The Natural realm and the spirit realm
What I do know is that there is a natural realm, and there is a spirit realm: A natural dimension and a spiritual dimension. The Bible is crystal clear about that.

It is extremely unfortunate that most “Western” Christians have been “kept in the dark” in regard to the things of the spirit. Generally, they seem to know very little about how to effectively function righteously in the spirit realm and they seem to know virtually nothing about how to deal with the dark side.

God gave us physical bodies to function in the physical realm. I suppose how well most of us do even that is questionable. However, there certainly seems to be little question that most of us would do very well to become better acquainted with the spirit realm.

What manifests in the natural realm begins in the spirit realm
The reason that functioning in the spirit realm is critically important for the Remnant of God is because what is occurring in the natural realm is the result of what is occurring in the spirit realm.

In other words, the natural realm responds to the spirit realm. Do you remember seeing those movies where the witch doctor casts voodoo spells on their unsuspecting victims? It’s real.

So rather than just pruning a branch and thinking that it is going to destroy the tree, you need to be able to attack the root of the matter. You need to be able to function in the spirit realm.

Evil from satan and his demons
When I was in Bible school a fellow student told me how he attended a small church that garnered the attention of 4-5 satanists for a couple of months. My friend and some others tried to talk to the Pastor about it but he wouldn’t listen and didn’t know what to do. Within a couple of months, the Pastor’s wife was no longer living on earth and shortly after that, the church disbanded.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Yahweh, and satan came also among them.
And Yahweh said unto the satan, where did you come from? Then the satan answered Yahweh, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Job 1:6-7

In this passage, the satan and his followers appear in the Heavenlies. Afterward, they eagerly set about their plan to destroy Job: “On earth as it is in Heaven.

Likewise, in Luke 22:31 Yeshua told Peter that the satan desired to have him and to sift him as wheat.

Becoming familiar with how the spirit realm operates is the key to functioning in the physical realm
As you may be aware, battling in the spirit requires its own set of disciplines. It would be as if you had been a professional football player with the NFL and then switched to Major League Baseball: It’s an entirely different game with different rules. If you wear a football uniform and start playing football on the baseball field it won’t go so well; It’s exactly that same way when moving from the natural realm to the spirit realm.

In the days ahead, the only way you will fulfill the calling that God has on your life is if you are wholly committed to a loving relationship with the Most High God and you are well versed and experienced in the spirit realm. The Bible relates this reality repeatedly from Genesis to Revelation.

That’s what I am going to do. I choose to be on the winning team; God’s team. I am an overcomer and I pray that you are too.

‘He who overcomes will be clothed in white garments;
Revelation 3:5

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.  The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.  Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
