Previously Parson Rayphe concluded a three-part series on Passover and the pagan festival of ishtar, also known as easter.
When we begin to realize all of the places we have missed it over the years we sometimes begin to feel guilty, ashamed, remorseful, inadequate.
Then, as you begin to enter into a loving, pure, and authentic relationship with Jesus / Yeshua you begin to appreciate even more, what He has done for you.
Today, as we consider a couple of phrases in the Song of Solomon 1:5 we see humility that the bride of Christ should express toward her Groom:
I know I am so unworthy – so in need.
I feel as dark and dry as the desert tents.
As we go forth in true humility, in the light of Yeshua, we begin to walk in His righteousness establishing His plans and purposes. In this way, the Kingdom of God is established here on earth (Gen. 1:26).
As we serve Yeshua His function becomes our function we become Kings and Priests establishing His dominion, His Kingdom here on earth.
This is what Yeshua’s mission was (Matthew 4:17). As it is His mission, it is also our mission (Mt. 28:18-20).
