Remnant Briefing 12-19-19

The Remnant Briefing is a one-hour radio program and podcast recorded live on God’s Kingdom Realm Radio (M-F @ 9:00 A.M. PST) where I discuss current events and news with prophetic commentary for the Remnant of God.

Following is an outline of today’s program:

There are many things happening on many “fronts” right now.

One day before the impeachment vote President Trump sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi protesting the impeachment, accusing her of violating her oath of office, breaking her allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, and “declaring open war on American Democracy.”

“I write to express my strongest and most powerful protest against the partisan impeachment crusade being pursued by the Democrats in the House of Representatives. This impeachment represents and unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse of power by Democrat Lawmakers, unequaled in nearly two and a half centuries of American legislative history,

The Articles of Impeachment introduced by the House Judiciary Committee are not recognizable under and standard of Constitutional theory, interpretation, or jurisprudence. They include no crimes, no misdemeanors, and no offenses whatsoever. You have cheapened the importance of the very ugly word, impeachment!

By proceeding with your invalid impeachment, you are violating your oaths of office, you are breaking your allegiance to the Constitution, and you are declaring open war on American Democracy. You dare to invoke the Founding Fathers in pursuit of this election-nullification scheme – yet your spiteful actions display unfettered contempt for America’s founding and your egregious conduct threatens to destroy that which our Founders pledged their very lives to build,”. I can’t overstate the significance of the President of the United States sending the Speaker of the House of Representatives a letter of this sort. This is far more than just a letter: It is many things such as information to the American people about what is actually happening, a foundation for future action, documentation for his defense for potential action against him in the future, etc.

Virginia

At least one web site is being warned to cease publishing information about what is happening in Virginia. This is what they were reportedly told:

“Stop reporting on Virginia militia or
your editors will be charged as felons.”

This is what they were reporting:
“Thousands of cops, veterans, supporters pledge to join militia in Virginia to combat unconstitutional laws.”

Things are getting really bad in Virginia. But this group isn’t going down without a fight.  

Virginia – Monday morning, Law Enforcement Today reported on how Tazewell County, Virginia is crafting a militia to defend the Constitution in the state.  And within hours, we were flooded with thousands of emails from people across the state – police officers, veterans, and patriotic Americans – who said they are joining.

And it’s a movement that’s gaining traction across the state.

Here are some comments that have been received:

“I am Vietnam vet, ex-police, retired and am behind your ideas 100% , anything I can do I would like to help.

I live in Franklin County, which voted down being a sanctuary city being the council is Democratic, a moonshine county giving up their guns is dumb.

The South gave up their flag, their statues and now they want their guns, sounds like Hitler’s Germany.”

“There had already been rumblings locally about a militia being formed last month.  We started carefully and quietly assembling patriotic Americans who are prepared to defend freedom at all costs. 

In the past day those numbers have swelled.  We have a very strong military presence here – more veterans and both active and retired LE than you can count. 

As of this evening, we’re talking about thousands of people that have expressed an interest in being a part of this movement.”

More on Virginia

Current Law Enforcement, ex-military, and others have offered their support to the citizens of Virginia

The state of Virginia is threatening to mobilize the National Guard to enforce their unconstitutional laws that they are going to enact.

When you’re in the National Guard, you swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

So what is happening here is the Governor of Virginia is threatening to send people who have sworn an oath to protect the Constitution and defend it to combat others who have taken the same oath. This is obviously a very volatile situation.

You may have heard about an organization that is called the Oath keepers. The oath keepers are a national organization comprised mostly of people previously in the military, law enforcement or other emergency services. Virginia Oath Keepers

Have you heard of the Anti-Defamation League? Following is their stated purpose:

“ADL is a leading anti-hate organization. Founded in 1913 in response to an escalating climate of anti-Semitism and bigotry, its timeless mission is to protect the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment for all. Today, ADL continues to fight all forms of hate with the same vigor and passion. ADL is a global leader in exposing extremism and delivering anti-bias education, and is a leading organization in training law enforcement. ADL is the first call when acts of anti-Semitism occur. ADL’s ultimate goal is a world in which no group or individual suffers from bias, discrimination or hate.”

Here is a short excerpt from a lengthy write up from the ADL that expresses their view of the Oath Keepers:

“The Oath Keepers are a large but loosely organized collection of anti‐government extremists who are part of the broader anti‐government “Patriot” movement, which includes militia and “three percenter” groups, sovereign citizens, and tax protesters, among others. What differentiates the Oath Keepers from other anti‐ government extremist groups is that the Oath Keepers explicitly focus on recruiting current and former military members, police officers and firefighters (although they accept anyone as members).

The ideology of the Oath Keepers most closely resembles that of the militia movement, whose adherents believe that the United States is collaborating with a one‐world tyrannical conspiracy called the New World Order to strip Americans of their rights—starting with their right to keep and bear arms. Once Americans are rendered defenseless, the theory goes, they too will be enslaved by the New World Order.”

So here you have the ADL, working closely with various law enforcement groups, training them to think that previous law enforcement and military personnel are their enemies. And of course all of this may be converging upon Virginia.

So the message is, if you believe that Americans should have the right to defend themselves by way of firearms, then you’re thrown into the pot. It doesn’t matter who or what you are: You’re classified as an anti-government extremist. And if you swore an oath to defend the Constitution and you don’t want to give up your firearms, which are your means of protecting your family, and very possibly even putting meat on the table, then that may even be worse yet.
