Who is bad and good? Mt. 22:10
This is part 11 of a series based upon the Parable of the Marriage Feast in Matthew 22:1-14. Each part stands alone with the other parts supplementing and adding to the whole.
Just like so many other Scriptures that we have looked at in the past, this Passage is so incredibly rich. It just seems like almost every word is oozing with rich, deep meaning. And so to clarify what is being said, we’ll be looking at various Scriptures, concepts, and precepts that are expressed throughout all of the Bible, but primarily throughout the renewed covenant (N/T).
I hope that you’ve been able to follow along in our series. If not, I would encourage you to check out the archives.
Following is a brief outline with the Scriptures that were introduced today:
Who are the “bad and the good” mentioned in Matthew 22:10?
So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
Mat 22:10
In the following verse, Yeshua explains that the Kingdom of Heaven will accept all who come to it.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
Mat 13:47
God has always been the same: He has ALWAYS sought after a heart that was tender toward Him.
I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. KJV
Jeremiah 17:10
But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” NLT
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
1Sa 16:7
While many are called, but only a few will respond with a heart of “excellence” (Aramaic) turned toward Him. It is those who pursue a loving relationship with Father God that will enter into the Kingdom of God.
For many are called, but few are chosen.
Mat 22:14
